Elton

As part of my painting series “Just welcome chickens” I wanted to capture “Polish chicken” because it has a pompous head. The look and attitude of this chicken felt theatrical and funny and with blue and red colours I am expressing its personality. It was only after I saw a film “Rocketman” where Elton John appeared in a stage costume that reminded me of my chicken. It was clear at that moment that painting will be named “Elton” as a tribute to Elton John.

The painting is made on white framed canvas in dimensions of 30 x 40 cm.
